Bella yawned as she laid on top of the junk yard pile. Down near the bottom there was the remains of what had been her lunch. A junkyard dog that had thought it could out fight the white tiger. Her giant maw and snapping teeth were revealed when she was yawned. Wrapping her tail around the pile as much as she could. It wasn't always fun living on the street, however, it was fun seeing who was idiot enough to try and catch her.
And messing with Winter. That was fun too.
She didn't know why she chose to sleep in the junkyard so often. It was kind of her territory.... Occassionally the owner would attempt to get a new dog, but it usually 'vanished' after a couple of days. Although, the white tiger was probably a much better animal to keep out people. Especially since she wasn't exactly picky about what she ate.
She took a deep breath in, then breathed out, a jet of flame shooting out in front of her. There used to be some woman that came around occassionally, but she was more terrified of her than anything. Not that it mattered to her. "Time..." she muttered, "For a little nap."
She shut her eyes, but her ears stayed alert. Sometimes those idiots that ran the zoo tried to come by and catch her. Although, the last one was missing a chunk of his leg... and an arm. So, she kinda doubted they'd be coming around sometime soon.

((Sorry, I kind of had to make my opening post a little flashy but didn't expect it to come out as long as this =/ )) The clouds rushed past. There was a plane, faces squinting out of the windows, to see what was soaring past them at such a speed. There was admiration, fear, and initial surprise so dense on the plane it looked like you could smell it. Some had their faces plastered to the window, others pulling down the curtain in a sort of disgust. Below, through the thick layer of clouds, the ground could be seen. Suburban areas, buildings that curved in perspective.
Flames licked the air behind, leaving a long trail of grey that pushed the white from its path and mixed in with it, leaving a dark smudge on the blue canvas. Suddenly, the clouds began rushing upward, the grey turning into spirals that plummeted towards the earth. Soon enough, the trail dithered and soon went out. A boy, of lean stature landed on the pavement, shoes smacking against it. He straightened up and moved away from the eyes that watched the oddly clad young man.
In a form of habit, he cracked his knuckles and found his pockets, pushing his hands deep inside them. Although he noticed the eyes, listened to the jeers, questions and giggles, a casual whistle still escaped his mouth, and a moss colored eye gazed at the scenery around him. He had landed almost exactly a mile from his proper destination. There was a sizeable amount of walking to do.
Luke stood outside the junkyard gates. An old rusty sign hung on the fence, alerting people that there was a dog inside and to avoid the area. For as long as Luke could remember, the junkyard dogs had always disappeared, been replaced, disappeared again, replaced again, so on, the remains nearly always found mutilated. Obviously, something beyond human must have done the such. The dogs were always real big, fed raw meat so they weren’t tame. He moved past the sign toward the back, where a Luke sized hole was. Ducking under it, he entered the junk yard and moved to a car he was in the midst of restoring with a couple of others, though they soon gave up. He leant in and turned the radio on, cranking up the volume till it was pretty loud, but not enough to have people come running and yell at him.
He jumped on the bonnet and leant against the windscreen. He took off a glove and began messing around with some things in the yard. He was recently working on a new technique. He eyed up a fridge, and spanned out his fingers. A flame ignited around it, and it lifted. He held it in the air for a few moments, before lowering it. Extinguishing the fire, he moved over to inspect it. Laying a hand on the top, he could feel the heat. There was a few burn marks on it, but otherwise, it had survived. Glad, he walked around the junkyard, hands interlinked behind his neck.
His eye caught something. A tail?
”What the…
Moving over to the biggest pile, he noticed there was more. Surely this couldn’t be the new instalment to stop people going into the junkyard? How could people get their hands on bigger things than dogs? It was illegal, surely. Not wanting to show himself, he closed his eye and opened it, the moss color now a deep red. He noticed something large amongst the metal, bigger than any dog that could have been there. But, there was something else, a little colder, but warm all the same. He couldn’t help but look. Blinking back to green, he moved around the metal.
He jumped back, and his heart skipped a beat.
”Whoa.”
It took a few moments to take in a white tiger laying atop a junk yard pile, the remains of what probably was the latest settlement to ward people off, mutilated like all the others were. So…Was this it? Surely it couldn’t be an escaped zoo animal, it must have been captured by now, of course. Right? Sure, it explained the whole junk yard dog disappearances, but he didn’t know why it hadn’t attracted attention. Luke was so lost in thought to realize it was a tiger, capable of ripping him to shreds, and he was standing before it, contemplating on why it could be there.

Bella growled to herself as she heard someone walking around the junkyard, but she kept her eyes shut and wasn't growling very loud, barely loud enough for her to hear herself. She normally wouldn't have minded, and she knew it wasn't one of the Zoo keepers. They were making to much damn noise. Why did people that came into the junkyard have to make so much damn noise. It was the only reason she didn't like it there because otherwise it was very quiet in the place, and not many people there.
Whoever it was was getting closer, and the closer they got, the louder the noise they were making got. It was getting on her nerves. Majorly. They were lucky she was full or they'd probably be roasted already. Maybe if she was even slightly more annoyed she might not have done them the honor of roasting them first.
Finally it got to much and she put her massive paws over her ears, then shifted. She went from a large white tiger, to a thin and leath humanoid creature. The top of her ears to her tail to her feet were covered in white and black striped fur. Her teeth were all canines, and her eyes were bright yellow, with the pupil a thin black line. Where there'd normally be nails there were claws.
She got to her feet and turned around and looked at the boy, growling rather menacingly. Okay, he was probably older than her, but she didn't particularly care. There were two things about her you didn't mess with. The first was her tail. The second was her naptime.
"You," she growled at him, "Are getting on my nerves."

There wasn’t much really that could have prepared Luke for what he was going to see. Sure, it was bad enough to see the tiger, but it was worse that he knew, that it was pissed off with him. Like, it had it bad. Which meant Luke would probably have to do a lot of running. Probably more than he’s ever done, and he didn’t really relish the fact of that. You know, being chased by a white tiger wouldn’t appeal to anyone, and Luke knew his boundaries. So, he began backing away to make a run for it.
Before he could carry on, he stopped in his tracks. His eye widened and he jumped back much further than he thought he could. Yet again his heart skipped probably a few beats and his jaw gaped. Great. What was he supposed to do now? It..She…Was like, worse than pissed. He knew she was seriously inclined to just jump at him and rip his face off. Why did he have to find all the trouble? If it weren’t for him being totally frozen he probably would have cussed or something. And yeah, it just talked.
After the short moment of gawping at the creature that stood before him, he slowly brought his hands up and moved back another step.
”Sorry I…Er…Um…
Luke knew he was never good with words, or getting his way out of situations. Though, this was pretty extreme so he didn’t think anyone had any clue of apologizing to a half human half tiger shapeshifer? That you’ve pissed off. Well, he had to say something else quick. Knowing he wouldn’t say the right thing, he pushed his hands in the pockets of his coat and at the same time pulled off his other glove.
”Well…Er…I’d better go if that’s what you want..."

" There are two things you don't mess with, when dealing with me," she growled at him. Normally she didn't pronounce her h's since it was an aggressive noise. Right now she was trying to be aggressive. It was added to as twin balls of flame generated over her hands. She didn't think she'd end up hitting the guy, she'd just use it to make him run a little faster.
"The first is my tail. It is annoying as hell when people pull my tail. The second, is my nap," she said, punctuating the end of her statement with something resembling a small roar. Her goal at the moment was to make the guy wet himself. Then it was to break at least one bone.
She cracked her fingers and took a step toward him. She was going to have some fun now.... Some people might think she would calm down. Nope. She was extremely vindictive. Once his arm was broken she'd be a bit better. Maybe. Probably not.
"I'll give you a ten second head start. One.... Ten," she growled, throwing the fireball over his shoulder and running at him.

Luke shuffled his feet slightly, them begging to throw him into motion and get the heck out, whilst the top half of Luke was still stuck in place. He knew he’d done it now. He couldn’t just apologize and run away? Obviously, it wasn’t that easy. It generally was never easy. He watched the flames and straightened up, bringing his own hands out to either side of him, ready to produce his own. At least it wasn’t raining. He’d better not jinx it though. Knowing his luck the skies would open up and a torrent would fall down on him. He backed up a little more, till his foot hit the metal behind him, seems he couldn’t get back any more.
”Tail. I’ll keep that in mind. And sure, if I’d known you was here I wouldn’t have come.”
His eye darted around him for an escape route he could use. In the end he would probably have to get out using his powers. That would probably piss her off. And the fact that he was kind of like…Fireproof? Maybe he should say…It could work right? Yeah, but she's most likely fireproof too. With that out of the equation, then it was Tigress vs Luke. He knew who would win. But...He could still try...Right?
Wrong.
Instinctively, Luke darted away from the flames that whistled past him and exploded behind his back. He took a moment to take in the human tigress and bolted, jerking off to his left. Right now, he didn’t have time to think of what he could do. Right now it was a matter of saving his ass from this…Beast. There was a path between junk piles and he twisted, running into that, only to meet a dead end. He cussed, turning his back. Luke would have to use a little more than party tricks to get out of this one. He struggled to think of what to do, wasting time. She was on his back and he knew she couldn’t be far. The piles could just be high enough for him to jump out, or he might not be able to make it, collide with the metal and fall back into the jaws of the beast.

Bella didn't use her flames often, except for maybe when she was in the mood for some cooked food. For the moment, it was strictly for intimidation purposes. Although, her teeth and claws seemed to be creating that effect nicely. All she really had to do was get ahold of him and he'd probably produce the desired effect; making him wet himself. After that she'd probably be done... breaking a bone was all fine and dandy, but it was funner to make someone lose their self control, and humiliate them.
She also loved a chase. Since she hadn't seen Winter in a couple of weeks, she rarely got to chase or be chased by anyone that was worthwhile anymore. She doubted the kid would be, so she'd have to give him a break and not run at full speed. Not many people could outrun a tiger. Even less people could outrun her.
When he started to run away from her, Bella simply jumped back on top of the junkpile and watched him from above, quietly watching her prey flee into a dead end. Appropriate name. She shifted back into her white tiger form, and padded across the top of the junk. Her claws made a slight tinkering sound on the metal that echoed through the junkyard, seeming to come to her ears from everywhere and nowhere. When she reached the entrance to the 'dead end' he was in, she jumped down to the ground, the growl in gut getting steadily louder as she got closer to him.
It was only a matter of time before she had won, and he'd probably never be back. There was only one idiot that'd done this and kept coming back, and that was his job. She'd made him wet himself 3 times.
