Two pairs of matching lights on a car passing by, light up a dark room filled with ancient artifacts. Swift as sound, a black shadow moves across the room. The place was big and there were camera's in different places making sure every inch of the building was being watched. By security who just happen to be tied up with gags. If they manage to get out of that there were more traps set up. This was all planned out. The main room, probably were tea would be served during the day looked marvelous. High class living. From the beautiful satin colored curtains and furniture. To the golden trimmed fire place that never use the same wood twice. The black shadow knew this detail. Nightly stake outs helped rule this conclusion. The ceiling was a miniature version of all the Greek gods gathering for a meeting. The black shadow moved with great speed and agility.
To others if they saw, it would look as if the violet eyes of the ninjas eyes were glowing. They weren't, it was all an illusion. Getting a closer view of the shadow when it stopped moving, it appeared to have a shape of a woman. Curve's, very toned, but not to the point were it looked like body builder, softer. Only the eyes were visible. They were slanted, she was Asian. She wasn't like the rest. After every item placed in the black bag she had, she would fix things back to there exact measurement. No one would expect anything. Except for the missing things of course. Holding herself very well it was as she was out of place. At the same time she moved so gracefully, like a ballet you never want to look away from. It was wrong though to watch. She was stealing from these people. These rich people who could buy everything that was stolen again. She paused for a milli second only those with eye sight from the beyond could have noticed. Something was wrong. Was she not performing to her best abilities. Coming to a complete stop she looked at the watch on her wrist, it looked expensive. Did she steal this as well?
No, He was late. She planned this. She planned this, to this exact moment when she was suppose to see flashing lights on the east wall, in the far corner next to the million dollar lamp. Where no camera's could see. Never. Never again will she depend on someone else. Next time will be better. She will have them close so she can just control them. Yes control. Her combat skills kicked in. She acted on cue as if someone was following her and she needed to get out. She blended in with her surroundings in the dark being able to maneuver her way around like a cat. A cat. In the ancient times they were worshiped. The Greeks, like on the ceilings, linked cats to the moon Goddess Diana. The Goddess of the night was always accompanied by a feline companion. The ninja woman made her way outside sliding under an open window. The same one she had come in.
A black cat runs across the street and she thinks to herself why yes I am having a bad night. Holding on to the bag and taking a few steps she blinked seeing a pair of dim headlights off in the distance. She knew. She knew it was him. She stayed motionless until the dark van came to a complete stop in front of her. Pursing her lips she was not pleased. Walking to the back of the van she opened it up and silence the driver without even speaking. She did it with her eyes. As if her facial expression wasn't enough. For she had planned this. Planned it right down to how she would escape, having enough time to get away before the residents came back at ten o clock. Looking at her watch again she noted it was ten o clock now. She went to the driver's side and didn't even have to say a word. The guy moved out of the way into the passenger seat. Shutting the door after she got in and driving at least one hundred feet away she turned to glare at the man.
"You bloody arsehole you were suppose to be here exactly five minutes ago. We went over this a thousand times your suppose to be Au Fait with it. You were probably off bonking that little duck you call a girlfriend".
She grounded her teeth together and removed the black scarf wrapped around her head. This revealed her full face. She was very beautiful, with her jet black hair and tawny skin tone. She had high cheek bones you could hardly notice. Which meant that she was of a Japanese descendant. Her voice is what made her who she was though. Her accent so crisp and British. Yes British. A Japanese person that sounded like they grew up in London. That was a whole different story. She spoke to him in a mild tone but her articulation on every word made the words burn into his soul. She continued to drive and came to a stop sign.
"Buru hairu! Teme kono-yaro! I'm so cheesed off right now".
Even though she had gotten away and no one had seen her, there was always the possibility that someone had seen her. Quick as a cat she placed her hand on the guys head and wiped his memory then paralyzed him. It would only last for a short time. She reached past him after she was done and opened the door on his side and pushed him out on the street then kept going. She made a quick turn and the door slammed shut. She let out a sigh of relief, that she didn't even realize she was holding. This was the Life and times of Elisabeth Braddock. Elisabeth drove for another five miles then stopped in front of a storage area, and started to unpack the van she had 'borrowed'.
