Becca sat down where the waiter told her and said someone would be with her in just a moment. She hummed happily. She hadn't remembered the last time she acually treated herself to something. She had found the money in her budget and decided a day in the city is what she needed to take her mind off things.
She was a little stressed. She had yet to hear back about a position at the Xavier school and she was going broke. She had the money her parents sent her, plus the money from the small estate that Lexington left in her name, but it was slowly dwindling. She sighed as she looked at the menu. Everything looked good.
Alla round her, people bundled from the cold, came and went. All manners of class was represented here. She looked like upper middle class. She shrugged her heavy wool coat off to her simple black polo shirt and khaki slacks. She wore gold jewelry, very modest, simple hoops at her ears and a fine gold chain. Her wavy hair was tied back into a thick braid. The waiter came back, or a different one did anyway, and took her order.
She stuck with a simple salad and splurged on dessert. She would have enough money to take in a movie and then she would have to be back at the mansion, for another check to see if she had any messages, which she doubted.

"Honey, I need to take the doggy bags to the car, could you please take my credit card?" "On it, mother," said a young boy with tall, white hair put into spikes at the tip. If you thought about it, and knew him well, you could say he was a real life Jimmy Neutron. Kind of short, with a big bunch of hair put up neatly, and a brain to compare. As his mother, wearing a big, purple coat, handed him a gold Visa credit card, his arm, sleeved with a gray rain jacket, grabbed it. Around his wrist was a bracelet of sorts, with his house key connected. Yet the bracelet was a full ring made of sleek metal, without any way to remove it. It was only just big enough to slide off his hand... But how did the keys get on it?
Malcolm walked to the counter, after exchanging a brown paper bag with the card. He handed it off to the cashier, who swiped it through the machine, and gave it back, as well as a receipt. Malcolm turned, but before he left, he saw a girl eating a salad. Her hair was different than normal. Then again, Malcolm's hair was similar, a perfect white colour compared to her more silvery locks. Although, Malcolm was a mutant... No... Probably dyed... By her clothes, she must be middle class, at least upper, so she could actually afford that stuff...
((Random child staring at you in a restaraunt? Suspicious...))

She was picking at a large piece of tomato, debated whether or not she still hated tomatoes when she felt strange. She looked up and around cautiously. Was someone watching her? There were many faces, lots of talking, too many distractions. She didn't notice anyone watching her. She went back to her salad.
That done (tomatoes untouched) she pulled out a newspaper from her bag to check movie times as she waited for desert. She still had that feeling of being watched and it unnerved her. She looked up again and around, finally her eyes fell on the boy at the counter. She was seated near the front of the restaurant, so she could see through the crowd of patrons and the staff semi-clearly.
The boy had white-ish hair, almost similar to her own. She wondered what would grey a young boy, probably a mutation. Herself, she could have dyed her own, but she didn't. She acually tried to dye it her normal color before her excessive use of her powers, but it wouldn't stay or it looked muddy. She just left it as is. She raised an eyebrow at the boy then went back to her dessert that has just arrived. She made a little dance with her shoulders, excited for the dessert, which was very well known in culinary circles, and tucked in.
