Name Shiro Yoshida
Nicknames Mr. Yoshida
Code Name Sunfire
Age Twenty-Seven
Gender Male
Powers Solar Flare Shiro's mutant powers enable him to absorb solar and other radiation to generate the process of ionized matter (usually air) through a mentally-triggered unknown biochemical process so that it is converted to plasma, the superheated state of matter. Plasma is the state in which matter making up the sun exists; hence, Sunfire refers to his projecting "solar fire." Hence he can sheath his body in flame.Flight Shiro can use his powers to create super-heated air currents which push him forward through the air, enabling him to fly. Sometimes this super-heated air is visible as a trail of flame behind Sunfire. The upper limit to the speed Sunfire can achieve in flight is not yet known, although it is known to be greater than that of the Angel, who can reach 150 miles per hour.
Plasma Blasts He has the ability to project the flames he generates at powerful blasts of energy.
Plasma Emanation Sunfire can generate plasma temperatures which match those that can be generated by the Human Torch, reaching about 1,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit at maximum level. He can also use his power in a massive blast similar to Johnny Storm's "Nova Burst." However, Shiro has much more control over the area of effect, enough to where one person may feel like they have been sunbathing all day to total incineration of another target.
Heat Signature Sense He has the ability to sense beings by the heat signature that they give off.
Plasma Shield He has the ability to manipulate the plasma around him to form an aura that can melt incoming bullets are stave off other attacks. Solar Shielding Psi-field He is protected from the heat and radiation he emits by a short-range psionic force field which automatically comes into being whenever air friction, and also prevents excessive amounts of light from the plasma from reaching his eyes so as to blind or damage them. Sunfire's body emits a protective field whenever he uses his powers. However, it is speculated that he can generate power in excess of his natural protection. Appearance One word, professional. Tall of a five foot ten, Shiro stands proud as the epitome of Japanese heritage. A clean cut man, Shiro has the natural "business man" appearance and posture that causes many people to confuse him with his father, the late Saburo Yoshida, once a business man himself. He strikes many with an air of upper class in his clothing choice that maintains a professional appeal and standard, though casual clothing are seen worn on him from time to time. Raven hair is clean and kept slick in a usual parted style with the ends coming as far as his neck at times, the ends floating outwards. It does range however, from professional part to casual spiked, to even a crew cut when his boredom reaches him full force. His eyes are the deepest brown and at times can be sporting the color blue and silver thanks to the wonders of color contacts.
Personality As a business man near the high class of society, Shiro displays an air of sophistication that still borders what some might call a normal gentle soul. Having been influenced by many people in the same high class status as his persona is locked in now, Shiro has great knowledge in how to keep his composure in a situation that calls for no mishaps, such as meetings with people of great importance and the like. He has great wit and tact, and can play with the best of them, even in surprise happenings. Shiro is fluent in both Japanese and American English, having been brought up in Japan and having stayed quite a while in the States while on business issues. As a member of the political society however, he also has a good deal of knowledge in the area of Russian, Khmer, Italian, Swahili, and Hungarian.
Shiro is very protective of the people he cares about, willing to risk life and limb to save them from danger. He also sports a great deal of care over the general innocent; a sort of heroism that started back in his pride of his country for revenge but developed into a more nationwide calling for a guardian angel. In battle, he is as his power is, a will of fire that burns brightly. His calm demeanor is switched with that of a battle-worn commander, a leader if you will, never a follower. Not that it means that Shiro won't cooperate with a team under another leader, he just generally prefers to work alone under his own command.
Hobbies Shiro prefers to keep his hobbies private to only his closest friends and peers, as his image in society is seen only as a businessman. In the solitude of privacy and away from prying eyes, he generally spends his time reading and catching up on his favorite novels. He also enjoys long, thoughtful sessions in meditation, finding the silence a great asset in maintaining control over his powers. Writing is also another way for him to maintain focus, as well as giving him and outlet for his creativity. Sunfire frequents routines of shopping with close friends in the upper class districts, as well as overusing the company jet. He has a habit of studying people closely, observing them as if analyzing their personality.
Skills Sunfire is well versed in the martial arts of karate and kendo, as well as the art of bushido, the history and customs of the samurai class. He is also an expert tactician and commander, able to make quick-snap decisions in the heat of battle. Shiro also has a multitude of technological prowess, as a political member usually deals with computers in large time spans.
Equipment In combat, Sunfire wears a suit of body armor containing solar panels which enables him to absorb solar energy more efficiently, focusing units that releases this energy as a laser-like beam, boot jets which increases his flight speed, and convection stabilizers that increases his aerial maneuverability. History Deep into the warfare of World War II, there was a woman who was exposed to the lethal radiation of the bombings of Hiroshima that radically altered her genes. She would many years later find romance in the late Saburo, of the powerful Clan Yashida. She soon gave birth to Shiro, dieing after due to medical imbalances that were left unexplained by medical science. While Saburo went on to pursue a diplomatic career, who later became Japan's ambassador to the United Nations, Shiro was often left in the care of his uncle Tomo, a radical Anti-American. With much training, Shiro's powers manifested for the first time and was sought out by his uncle Tomo to be used as a weapon against the United States. With a costume donned and a new alias, Sunfire, Shiro was sent along with the shapeshifting terrorist Mystique, the mutant power-stealing Rogue, and the memory-stealing mutant Blindspot to steal the formula for bonding nigh-unbreakable metal Adamantium to a human skeleton from Lord Dark Wind. The mission failed however, and Blindspot wiped the memories of those involved.
Saburo moved to America, and Shiro moved as well to be with his father. While living in the states, Tomo incited Shiro to attack the Capitol building in Washington, but his mission was opposed by the efforts of the mutant group known as the X-Men. Saburo sought to reason with Shiro on his decisions, but was soon shot by Tomo, who in turn was killed by Shiro in retaliation. Having dishonored his father, Shiro was deported back to Japan as a social outcast, slipping into the Tokyo slums. While living in the harsh climate of the alleys, he found refuge in the criminal Dragon-Lord of Krakinowa, who sought to restore Japan’s status as a world power. Sunfire was sent to destroy an American cargo ship, leading to conflict with Namor the Sub-Mariner, who made Sunfire realize the ramifications of his actions and teamed with him to defeat the Dragon-Lord. Having redeemed himself, Sunfire was accepted as Japan’s protector.
Sunfire soon encountered the American hero Iron Man in Vietnam, but was kidnapped by the would-be conqueror the Mandarin. Iron Man intervened and rescued Sunfire, who then sought revenge, but was opposed by the Mandarin’s giant robot Ultimo. Once again saved by Iron Man, Sunfire began to rethink his anti-American beliefs. Later, Sunfire was contacted by Professor Xavier, who was recruiting a new team of X-Men to help rescue the original group from the living island Krakoa. Sunfire joined up long enough to help defeat Krakoa, but refused to stay with the team as he was devoted to serving Japan. Later, when Moses Magnum was threatening to sink Japan into the sea, Sunfire was unwilling to accept the X-Men’s help; but he was countermanded by Japan’s Prime Minister, who forced Sunfire to work with them. Together, they defeated Magnum, and Sunfire’s opinion of the X-Men improved as a result.
Later, the X-Men and Sunfire were among the many heroes forced to participate in the Grandmaster’s Contest of Champions, during which Sunfire battled Darkstar to a standstill. After the giant green dragon named “Puff” attacked Tokyo, Sunfire was sent to work with the X-Men again by his cousin Mariko, now leader of Clan Yashida. Sunfire later investigated the new designer drug “Sleet,” tracing its origins to the island nation of Madripoor, where he teamed with mutant soldier Cable (an old friend of his father’s), the New Mutants and the X-Man Wolverine against the Mutant Liberation Front. Returning to Japan, Sunfire was captured by Doctor Demonicus and brainwashed into serving as a member of his terrorist Pacific Overlords. Sunfire and fellow pyrokinetic Pele were sent to Hawaii to disrupt a ceremony honoring Namor for his World War II heroism.
Opposed by Namor and the Avengers, they freed Sunfire from Demonicus’ thrall, and he joined the heroes in defeating the Overlords. The Japanese government soon outfitted Sunfire with a specially-designed suit of armor, the successful test of which inadvertently ruptured a dimensional void that threatened to swallow the entire Earth. Working together, the X-Men and Sunfire resealed the void. Later, after Wolverine became involved in a war between Clan Yashida and the ninja Hand clan, Sunfire came to his aid, but was unable to prevent Mariko from being poisoned. Sunfire was subsequently tasked with escorting a Japanese whaling fleet to Antarctica to protect them from hostile Atlanteans. Sunfire erroneously believed Namor was responsible, but the true culprit was ultimately revealed to be Namor’s rival Attuma.
When the X-Men’s nemesis Magneto released an electro-magnetic pulse across the globe, the energy overloaded Sunfire’s body and caused his powers to flare out of control directly over Tokyo. This forced the Japanese government to imprison Sunfire, but he was soon freed by his cousin the Silver Samurai and Wolverine to help oppose a government plan to outfit giant Red Ronin robots with mutant-hunting technology. Battling one of the robots, Sunfire’s powers again flared out of control and Wolverine suggested he seek aid from Canada’s Department H, unaware that the Department had fallen into malevolent hands. Informed by the Department’s scientists that he had radiation poisoning, Sunfire remained with them seeking a cure. Unknown to Sunfire, the scientists had injected him with Zero Fluid, a compound that turned half his body jet black and created an ambient charge of bio-kinetic energy within his body that conflicted with his bio-atomic powers.
Frustrated by the scientists’ inability to cure him, Sunfire returned home, seeking refuge in an abandoned monastery. There, he was contacted by the Japanese government to join the fledgling super-team Big Hero 6. Sunfire initially declined, but later joined the team to help defeat the Everwraith. Possessed by the ethereal creature, Sunfire resisted its attempts to release his powers, but when his young teammate Hiro learned the truth of his condition, Sunfire expelled the entire bio-kinetic charge instead, dispersing the Everwraith. Eventually, the Zero Fluid was removed from his system, and he was assigned to work as a field agent with the Yakiba, the Japanese military intelligence. His first mission was to expose a shapeshifter that had infiltrated the military. While under this military intelligence, Shiro was employed into a new company where he quickly ascended the ranks to earn him a spot as a top businessman. As a businessman, he is considered a part of the upper class, and has found new and innovative ways to use this outlet to his covert advantages.

A snake retreating back in it's hole
Nerves started to calm down for the Japanese mutant, like a soap opera where the lead character finds out what had really been going on and they start to realize how foolish getting revenge was. All at once, like the calm that would happen after the deafening showers, his raven-black hair aflame would fall onto his neck, resting in slender calm spikes as before. His eyes would rest and relax from not being used once, the faint glow from before receding and disappearing fully. Looking back at his partner, he nodded and than smiled. Turning his head back at the new intern, he couldn't help but feel a sense of him only saying those things because he was afraid of getting into violence, much less with a higher-up. A higher-up that had business powers at that. "Best not to assume the least boy," he joked back at him, knowing that he had full range to taunt him for his earlier rebuttal.
His ears perked up at the statement that he and this other woman, Elle would make really good friends. Now he had never been introduced to someone else by another person's choice before, mainly because he was the one who would introduce himself. But this one seemed a little more interesting than the norm since the public display of how this man obviously cared for the woman was more than enough for Shiro to actually get some information on her. This day was turning out to be a very strange one at that. "Elle, sounds pretty interesting name for a woman, she a close friend of yours or something?" He only joked about the relationship because he had just found out how boring this conversation was going to get. His face reverting back to a more bored look, he flicked the pencil away from his area on the desk, the wooden utensil flying away toward the door to his office. Pushing his body off the same desk top that had once been the place of his document signing, he started back to the lounge again.
"You and me both Takenshi, you and me both," he slightly agreed to the relief that Takenshi displayed now that the slight tussle was over, nodding and motioning for the other two to follow him to the room of relaxation. He loved to get into fights regularly back when she was back in academic training, but now that he wasn't he figured he really should change his attitude around. Now that he was a respected member of the upper class society, he knew he must keep his reputation up and away from such acts of adolescence. Takenshi reminded Shiro that he would always be the voice of reason, the single thread of peace that was wrung out between millions of raging filaments. He was the calm one, the one to turn to when things looked rough, the kind of person Shiro never really saw much in himself until now. However, unlike Takenshi, Shiro had a more fighting spirit to his demeanor. In all reality, Shiro was a lot like his partners in business, albeit a few disagreements here and there.
Plopping onto the couch he had originally been sitting on before the whole situation on the desk, Shiro snatched the remote into his left hand and started to flip through the abundance of channels. "Cloverfield? Eh, that doesn't surprise me," he spoke nonchalantly, as if he had seen that movie millions of times before. His single finger constantly pushing the little gray button, he watched the screen with much boredom in his eyes, not a single channel catching his attention at the moment. "Shouldn't there be some reports on the mutant that attacked Tokyo a few weeks back?" His question was not without any information backed up on his part. He had been hearing recent reports on the incident that happened at the Tokyo radio tower a few weeks back that resulted in his assistance to quell the chaos, without his identity being shown once. He was hoping to catch sight of any new report on the case, and more importantly, using that as his reason to get out of the building for today. "Well guys, guess we're stuck here till the boss let's us out for the day," he said while resting his hand down on the leather, his finger still pressing that single button in a rapid cadence. X-Men; Brotherhood; Neutral Neutral Other Most of Shiro's past has been slid under the radar and hidden away thanks to his intelligence agency. This includes time: working for BravoTokyo model agency, training under the Master at Meiji University, and several side missions while under business with the Hand.

It's fine Raven. Go ahead and aprove it, since it's a canon the rule doesn't apply. It only applies to a non-canon characters.
