Name: Jason Andrew Mendoza
Nicknames: Shade, Water Fountain(doesn't like this one), Chief.
Code Name: "ONE ONE SEVEN"
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Powers/Special Abilities: Jason had the ability to create and control water, this means he can either create it by fusing the oxygen and hydrogen in the air to create water. He may also manipulate it, weather it be a small puddle to the vast ocean, or even water in the pipes of buildings. He can form the water to his will easily but like all he has a point where he must stop and rest.
Sub-Ability: He can freeze the water he creates or manipulates into anything he wishes, be it spikes to harm or a block to shield. The bigger the object the more amount of energy he uses. He also can encase himself in body armor-like ice (this does not hinder movement), depending on how stressed or focused he is can vary in strength from deflecting high-velocity, armor-piercing bullets to a mere punch being able to shatter it. His sculptures also follows this rule, as a sword he makes can either cut steel or just fall apart to the touch. The ice does melt over time just like normal ice.
Due to his powers he is an extremely good swimmer and is immune to cold and other ice/water attacks hardly hurt him. (Ex. His own powers wont hurt him)
WEAKNESSES:
If the air around him is dry, his power will be either extremely weak or nonexistent. This is why he always stays near a water supply such as the ocean or a lake.
Extreme heat is another weakness of his, as his ice attacks or if hot enough even his water attacks won't be able to do anything because of evaporation, but the heat required to do either one is extensive so a particularly hot day isn't going to affect him at all unless it's dry.
Appearance: Short dark brown hair, one eye is a deep green color with a darker green ring around the outside of the iris. The other eyes is a vibrant cerulean blue color. He is slender and tall, 6' 2". His attire is usually black shorts, with a blue shirt, black Vans, a hat with the Halo 3 symbol on it, and sunglasses with an orange tint, making his eyes impossible to see.
Personality: He is a hard person to get to know, usually repelling people and not interested in conversation or in making friends. He is mostly a loner and prefers it that way. However, if you manage to get close to him he's a really nice person, caring and defensive but this is hard to achieve. He gives off a reclusive vibe, says some people that keep them at bay.
He also has a controlled and secretive violent nature. In his mind he envisions brutally murdering anyone whom he meets that he does not like, basically everyone. Though this darker side of himself has never been seen he plans to let it loose sometime, everyone has a breaking point and he feels he cannot control this "Demon", as he calls it. He's even named it Morbus, a side of his mind that when it takes over devastation is inevitable.
Hobbies: Video Games, Swimming, and Martial Arts.
Weapons/Equipment/Skills Third Degree Black belt of Hwa-Rang-Do, a style that teaches you how to kill your opponent.
(YES I TAKE THIS CLASS IRL. IT'S AWESOME)
History:
Jason was born in a small town, not too far out of Salt Lake City, Utah, called Eden. The obvious biblical name didn't always hold up the the meaning of it, being not such paradise as it was a town full of bullies. His young life was normal, being at home. His parents were stable and his house was nice. Though he doesn't remember anything until Three years of age.
His life in the first years of school to him were pure hell. He has a craving for knowledge, something not seen much in the town. The school mostly consisted of teachers that took the kids to the Gym room and had them slide around the polished floors with their socks on all day while they slept or smoked in the teachers lounge, only looking out the window every so often to habitually check but not to care, only to make it look so. This normally would be a child's paradise, nothing but play constantly all day but this froze and crashed his mind, he felt they were lazy. Despite being a child and what he does not remember is what his parents did to him as a baby. They said by Three years of age he could add and subtract perfectly up to three digits and could even do simple multiplication as well as reading by himself. Being so enriched he was angry with this town. His murderous thoughts of his peer's incompetence started here and has never gone away.
When Jason was nine years old he was enrolled into a class of Martial Arts his father taught as his job called "Hwa-Rang-Do", a style that teaches fighting and killing your opponents swiftly to end the fight as fast as possible. This became a major part of his life and eventually gained an apprentice.
Later on in Jr. High (6-8) his life bloomed a little, he opened up more but still held a great contempt for his peers due to their carelessness and stupidity. There he met a friend, a life-long one that shared his views on the world. His name was Tanner, and to Jason, he was a godsent soul-mate to help each other with this unforgiving world. Now, if he were to tell his story people would laugh, his life was good, parents were stable, house was beautiful, two dogs, three cats and all the video games he could want and play along with his parent's approval because of his high grades. But in his mind he was in a hellish sea of carelessness for one's own future and stupidity. He felt he was above everyone he knew except for a select few, his friend Tanner included.
They both moved to Salt Lake City after the two families saw that Tanner and Jason were inseparable "blood" brothers, as their parents watched them perform the ritual of slicing your palms and clasping hands in a firm grip. They also both decided to enter the same school.
High School, scared him to death. But was quickly doused because of how much worse it got, compelling him to succeed over his peers relatively easy. By his second semester he had kept a 4.033 GPA because of an honors class. He felt good, but still was filled with the hate and contempt for everyone he met. Tanner felt the same way, but was much, MUCH milder due to his outgoing and fun-filled persona.
By his Sophomore year he had taken and exceeded passed expectancy of the State-Required testing and was shooting toward the top 3% of his classes with nearly all-honors with the exception of a Driver's Ed. class. His Hwa-Rang-Do classes had slowed, but he was already a third degree black belt due to the intense training his father gave to him his whole life. His apprentice now was Tanner, a first degree and a quick learner. Jason had yet to kill someone but has won many tournaments and has even been granted the honor of sparring with his Grand Master, IE his Father.
His whole life came to a crash, quick and painfully.
Two people entered his house, what was supposed to be a robbery ended with a bloodbath. His father was killed first, silently, with a silenced shot to the head, but his mother woke up and was killed in a....more brutal way with a shotgun. Jason ran in and saw his parents dead on the floor and the two masked men (or women, he couldn't tell). Rage overflowed him, his "Demon" took a form one of them called a monster, a fiend. Ice and water flooded from his body ripping apart one of the criminals in a matter of seconds. His mother, before killed, phoned police and got there before Jason had a chance to murder the other.
Because it was a home invasion and proved that the two were in fact trying to kill him, he was released with no charges after a statement. He lived with Tanner, but it didn't feel the same. He ran away two weeks after moving in and has been on his own ever since. It has been eight months since the murders and the run away had he has made it all the way to the School, but decided not to join and now lives his life on the beach and the streets, using money whenever he can so he is able to bathe and sleep in a nice warm bed in a Hotel.
Jason is 16 years old and facing the world alone with nothing but his Martial Arts skills and a mutant power he has yet to fully master.

Role Playing Sample:
Jason slowly opened his eyes. Rays of the breaking sunlight warmed his body. He smiled and got up from his hotel bed, a good night's sleep had passed. He strolled to the bathroom and closed the door, though there was no reason to, he was alone like always. He turned the water on, stripped and stepped in. It was too hot at first, the water stopped before it touched his body. He had used his control over water to stop it, a talent he knew he had but didn't know why. It was adjusted and he let it flow freely.
He dried off, staring in the mirror at his foggy self. He could make out his slender, slightly muscular body in the fog. He wiped a section and stared at a clearer image of himself, but just his eyes. One green, one blue. He had not met anyone else with this strange eye deformity, then again he didn't know many people and he wasn't really noticeable even with the rare event. He had had a few confrontations, but he just shrugged them off, not even bothering to speak to them.
Jason quickly slipped his cloths on, now clean and fresh from room service. He grabbed his things, a sole backpack, checked the room one more time in case he forgot something, then ran downstairs to check out.
X-Men; Brotherhood; Neutral: Neutral
Other He rarely uses his powers to defend himself as to not cause alarm to anyone. He prefers to keep it all a secret and wishes he never had it, though he makes the best of it.
