Name: Elizabeth [Lisa] Helen Ross
Nicknames: L, Lisa, Helen, blondie, you, Lisa Helen.
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Lisa Helen is a withdrawn and overly serious character. Most of the time, she isn’t quick to understand jokes and therefore at the best of times she is not of any fun. She can be easily liked but she has no intentions of making friends for she cannot find it in herself to trust anyone. Callous and dogmatic most of the time, Lisa doesn’t feel for many people, possibly only those she can really trust, this side to her is a gained trait from her work. She remains composed and collected in sticky situations. She has a more compassionate side, which is shown to people she claims she must protect, hiding her feeling of liking to those who get close enough.
Hobbies: Her dog, training at work or at the gym.
Weapons/Equipment/Skills At most and nearly all times, Lisa carries with her two pistols.
History: Lisa was born to a middle class family in the states with two rowdy brothers who she got on with all too well. She was urged to take ballet and learn piano, and her enthusiasm with the arts caused her to do so. After years of piano, but not as many as her ballet, which she quit after her toes bled too much, she became quite the accomplished pianist by only the age of twelve.
Earning herself good grades, Lisa was a bright and pretty girl. Her family hadn’t had any signs of mutant genes, and Lisa was glad of it.
A few years ago, when she was nine, her two older brothers and herself watched a Brotherhood mutant cause havoc and flick of police with a flick of a wrist. Running home, she made up her mind. She wanted to make sure mutants do not cause any trouble. And with that, she set her heart on becoming part of the US military. At first, her parents did not agree to their little girl joining the forces, but she was persistent.
When Lisa Helen turned fifteen, she gave up her piano lessons and started studying the military. Her brothers liked the idea of their sister being tough, but everyone worried still. But, her heart set on it and it being a definite goal, she grew up training for it, and grew into a striking young woman who entered college for a degree and left, seeking out a job in the military, starting off in the lower ranks and eventually finding her way up to first lieutenant. Most of the time, she is the one who confronts troublemaking mutants.
To keep her from becoming too serious, her friends bought her a puppy, which its trouble making skills itself was enough to keep her sane. Moving into a flat in the city, Lisa moves on with her life just the same as every other civilian in the city, only, she works for the military. Normally, she doesn’t tell anyone this, only those who are in need of authentication of her being allowed to wield a gun at a person.
The truth behind her dislike for mutants is that she is actually scared of them. With their abilities to defy the natural law of the world, it genuinely frightens her, but she almost never shows it, only if she is pushed to her limits then only a few times she has really broken down.
Role Playing Sample:
Her colleagues burst through the door with a cake, burning candles stacked onto it and all singing their own rendition of happy birthday. Her papers were swept aside like some sort of unimportant matter and they plonked the cake down on top of it all. Someone, had found a picture of herself with her puppy, and by the looks of it she was having a good time. “Who’s I idea was it to find a picture of me and put it on a cake and-“
“Happy Birthday!”
She was drowned out. The pushed the cake further toward her and she could feel the heat on her face. “Why did you set this up for me? I didn’t tell anyone my birthday.” Sighing, she gave up and rolled her eyes, blowing out the candles and admiring the picture of her on the beach in a swimming outfit. Of all the pictures of her they could choose from…
She found herself being abruptly hugged by Tania the sole black woman she knew in the place where she worked. “Go on hone, take the day off. Well, take over. Have fun with what is left of your birthday.” Lisa broke away and shook her head. “I have work to do...” Each of the ‘party’ members looked at her desk, and all the paperwork, completed paperwork that sat neatly on it. She sighed, again.
“Alright. I’ve been defeated.”
Chuckling slightly and picking up her bag, her gun slyly put inside of it, she grabbed a slice of her cake and left her place of work…And turned straight to the gym for some training. Then, she would practice her shooting skills. And possibly, possibly afterwards, she might treat herself...
“To what...” She mumbled. “300 rounds of ammo?”
